Whether you’re new to the area or just new to Friendship, we’d love to get to know you. Not only will we look for ways to help you and your family, we will also offer you areas in which you can serve the church family and our community upon joining as a member.
Interested in Membership?
If you are interested in membership, The Discovery Course will take you on a 4-week journey of who we are and what we believe. Taught by Pastor Klass, it will answer a lot of questions you may have about Friendship in your search for a new church home. The course is required for membership as we understand through I Corinthians 1:10 that being in agreement and unity better helps the church achieve its goals and minister to one another. We look at four major topics: Who We Are in Christ, Why Are We Baptist?, What is our Purpose?, and How are We Going to Accomplish Our Purpose? These four sessions provide you with a clear understanding of basic Bible doctrines, church structure, ministry strategy and service opportunities at FBC.

Discipleship Course for New Members
We believe it is vitally important for anyone ministering the Word of God within the FBC body to be a member. This is for the protection, edification and growth of the body. Once a member, we offer one-on-one discipleship to further fulfill the goal of unity within the ministry structure of our church. Our discipleship course is a 16-lesson workbook that covers the very basic tenets of Christian faith such as salvation, baptism, eternal security, the Holy Spirit’s role, etc. Once discipleship is completed, we help you in discovering your spiritual gift and finding a place of service that utilizes that God-given ability.
