Our adult ministries are very much focused on helping you grow and mature in your relationship with God. Whether you're single, a parent of young kids, or an empty nester, there are studies that will challenge you and activities which will encourage you through your relationships with your church family.
We have two different adult studies occurring on Sunday mornings that offer different topics or verse-by-verse study of select books of the Bible.
Jesus spent considerable time with his disciples in equipping and training them for the ministry. Once you became a believer, our Lord commanded you to be His disciple. Our discipleship process begins with a one-on-one, 16-week course that covers the basic tenets of our faith and Bible doctrine. A second level of discipleship is offered on Wednesday nights and delves deeper into areas such as How to Study the Bible, Survey of the Bible, Bible Doctrine, and Essential Character. These are things every Christian should know to have a better understanding of their faith, how to study God's Word, how to apply Scripture, and the ability to share your faith with others. All our ministries hinge on believers being discipled so that unity of mind, doctrine and ministry is achieved.
We base our women's ministry on how God's Word relates to being a better woman, wife, mother, daughter, or friend, and encouraging one another through Scripture and what God has taught each of us through life experiences. Activities throughout the year include a book study during the school year, weekend retreats, girls' night out, Beth Moore conferences, and a ladies' Sunday morning Bible study.
This ministry teaches you how to be a man of God and an ambassador representing Christ in all you do, whether at home or on the job. With the encouragement of other men, you will feel more confident in taking an uncompromising stand in a world filled with compromise. We also use special sporting activities to reach out to men in the community. These include a monthly men's breakfast, Father's Day weekend campout, Avid Sportsmen's Night (spring) and occasional retreats.
