Adult Ministries

Our adult ministries are very much focused on helping you grow and mature in your relationship with God. Whether you’re single, a parent of young kids, or an empty nester, there are studies that will challenge you and activities which will encourage you through your relationships with your church family.

BIBLE STUDY

We have two different adult studies occurring on Sunday mornings which offer different topics or verse-by-verse study of select books of the Bible.

LADIES MINISTRY

We base our women’s ministry on how God’s Word relates to being a better woman, wife, mother, daughter, or friend, and encouraging one another through Scripture and what God has taught each of us through life experiences. Activities throughout the year include a book study during the school year, weekend retreats, girls’ night out, and a ladies’ Sunday morning Bible study.

MENS MINISTRY

This ministry teaches you how to be a man of God and an ambassador representing Christ in all you do, whether at home or on the job. With the encouragement of other men, you will feel more confident in taking an uncompromising stand in a world filled with compromise. We also use special sporting activities to reach out to men in the community. These include a monthly men’s breakfast, Father’s Day weekend campout, Avid Sportsmen’s Night (spring) and occasional retreats.

DISCIPLESHIP

Jesus dedicated significant time to equipping and training His disciples for ministry. As believers, we are called to be His disciples. The first step is to Count the Cost, as mentioned in 2 Timothy 2:2. Once we have counted the cost and committed to being true disciples (John 8:31), we embark on a biblical process that covers the foundational tenets of faith and Bible doctrine. With a strong foundation and a desire for deeper growth, believers can continue through Discipleship 2 and 3, exploring topics such as How to Study the Bible, Survey of the Bible, Bible Doctrine, and Essential Character. These areas are essential for every Christian to better understand their faith, study God’s Word, apply Scripture, and share their faith with others. Here at FBC we are called to reach the lost, make disciples of Christ, train biblical leaders, and reach our community and the World with the Gospel of Christ.
