Doctrine
We are an independent, Bible-believing, teaching and preaching church body who meets together to worship God and give Him glory.
We believe the Scriptures of the Holy Bible to be completely inspired and inerrant in the original writings and perfectly preserved for us as the absolute and final authority in faith and life. We believe in, and hold to, the authority and purity of the Authorized King James Version for English-speaking people.
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. We believe that Jesus Christ, God the Son, was begotten of the Holy Ghost and born of the virgin Mary as true God and true man. We believe the Holy Spirit was sent by the Father, as promised, to guide us to all truth, convict the world of sin, to glorify Jesus, and to transform the lives of believers into the likeness of Christ.
We believe man was created in the image of God, that he sinned, and thereby died physically and spiritually. Thus, all human beings are born with a sinful nature and, when they reach an age of moral responsibility, become accountable for their sin.
We believe the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins, according to the Scriptures, as a substitutionary sacrifice, and that all who trust in Him as their personal Savior are redeemed and justified on the grounds of His shed blood alone.
We believe in the resurrection of the crucified body of our Lord, His ascension into heaven and His present position for the redeemed as High Priest and Advocate.
We believe all who receive Jesus Christ by faith are born of the Holy Ghost and become children of God, an eternally secure relationship. We believe in the personal, pre-millenial and imminent return of the Lord Jesus Christ for His Church.
We believe that the Church is a spiritual organism made up of all believers in Christ, that in its local manifestation, it is an autonomous assembly of believers. Its ordinances are baptism and the Lord’s Supper.
